They raised the money by selling old computers. Also two school classes of the Alkwin College have raised funds for this project. Thanks for your support!

Dormitories in La Union

project-la-union

La Union is a small village situated at about 300 km outside of Salta, near the border with Bolivia. Fortunately for the children in this area there is a secondary school for them to go to. However, because of the bad condition of most roads and lack of public transportation and financial means, many children are unable to actually get to the school!

They are forced to stay at home and are therefore deprived of education. About 45% of the students in the age 12 to 16 lives in La Union, the other 55% live dispersed in the area at distances of up to 40 kilometres removed from the village. Che Amigo helps them! We support the construction of dormitories for students so they can stay over during the week. In order to do so we have donated a total of 40.000 euro.
