Che Amigo raises funds in Holland in order to support educational projects in Argentina. All projects we support aim at creating opportunities for marginalised youth, providing them with education, food and a safe environment to learn and play.

Thursday 27 October, Lorentzschool Leiden and Che Amigo organised a Fiësta Argentina for the students' parents. They learned the Argentine Tango and tasted Argentine wines.

Training Leadership in your community |

Last July, 2011, about 60 people convened in ‘our school’ in Salta; 34 participants from different (marginalized) parts of Argentina, their supervisors/ supporters (teachers, trainers, priests, etc), 9 young educators from different parts of Bolivia, volunteers to help with the accommodation, and the organisers from Che Amigo, Christien and Jasper.

Che Amigo, IBM and INTEL collaborate to improve non-formal education in the slums of Buenos Aires |
|
Che Amigo is collaborating with IBM and INTEL to offer better, computer supported, education to children in the slums of Buenos Aires. IBM is donating computers and some funds, Intel is offering the software and education programs for the teachers and Che Amigo will be paying the salaries of the teachers who will teach the children, using the Intel software.
